For over ten years, I was a barman. Great craic. Learned how to talk to anyone. And how to look after people properly. But I always had other stuff on. I burnt the midnight oil writing poetry, prose and non-fiction. Between shifts I delivered a kaleidoscope of projects diligently, to brief and to deadline. Sounds like hard work? It was. But I love a challenge. Besides, what better job to meet colourful characters than bartending? I even used a few voices for my work.
That's what I do now. I give copy character. And help clients find their authentic voice. We use it to create original content and tell stories with personality. So clients spark genuine connections with the people they want to engage. Because in a world full of chatter, a distinctive voice is... I'll spare you the hard sell. I'm sure it's been a long day.
